Package A - workshops

1-3 hour workshops (working towards a performance/recording)

This workshop would give participants an intro into music and will show how creativity can be applied easily on any level from utilizing the latest electronic equipment through to beat boxing and rapping (creative writing) that can be practiced with no equipment.

The whole workshop will be delivered with reference to the history of  where contempary music has evolved from.  A revolution in the way we can approach music was first conceived at the beginning of the last century, See (John Cage in 1936 ‘Silence’). 

This package demonstrates:-

How music can be challenging and fun at the same time.                          Inclusivity through collaboration in musical exercises.                                       Discipline and structure through rhythm                                             Emotional expression through musical content and textures                           Imagination as a commodity and tool.
