Background

Our organization is based in North East of the UK and is actively involved in many of the regeneration and development projects. See CV  As well as promoting contemporary approaches to music making in schools meeting many of syllabus requirements for a wide age range.

The activities we offer vary from Djing, Rapping and Music production through to abstract sound installations, Experimental Music, Audio Diaries and Performances. This coupled with more traditional approaches to music making i.e. Percussion and Band workshops etc means that 10x10 can cover a huge range of approaches to music presented in a way that can be tailored to suit the requirements of any client.

We promote inclusivity and believe that music should be accessible to everyone regardless of ability or status.        

10x10 feels that music technology can and should be accessible to all age ranges and has found that younger pupils have the ability to approach music uninhibited by fears of technology or concepts of how music has been approached traditionally.

The ethos of this organization is to facilitate positive change through the expressive arts.
